# How to use Claude Code on your phone: follow a session that runs on your desktop

> Follow a Claude Code or Codex session that runs on your desktop from your iPhone or Android phone. Read the change and send the next instruction.

The HB Code apps for iPhone and Android open the Claude Code or Codex session that runs on your Mac or Windows PC. The project files and the agent stay on the desktop.

HB Code is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that runs Claude Code and Codex on your own computer, with your own Claude and ChatGPT plans.

## Steps

1. On the desktop, open Settings › Connections and turn on Allow Remote Access under Mobile Connection. Note the server region that it shows.
2. Install HB Code on the phone from the App Store or Google Play.
3. Choose the same region on the phone and sign in with the same HB Code account.
4. Select your desktop in the device list. Then choose a project and a session.
5. Open the Workspace tab to read the thread while the agent works. Open the Changes tab to read the changed files and each diff.
6. Type or dictate the next instruction and send it. A message that you send during a run joins the running turn.

## Good to know

- The desktop must stay awake while a phone is connected, because the agent runs there.
- You need an iPhone with iOS 18 or later, or a phone with Android 8.0 or later.
- The first phone on an account starts a 10-day connected preview. After that, each phone needs HB Code Pro from the App Store or Google Play.
- The HB Code account is only for remote access. Work on the desktop needs only the sign-in of the agent.
