Workspace for Claude Code and Codex

Every command, file, and diff stays in view, so you understand the code your agents write.

Built and polished since 2024 by Kiryl Kazlovich, who works in it every day.

Pick the agent for each session

Start a session with Claude Code or with Codex. Both can work in the same project at the same time, and one sidebar lists all your sessions.

Use several Claude and ChatGPT accounts

Add your Claude accounts and ChatGPT subscriptions on the desktop. You see the limits of each one. Switch the account for the next turn with one click on the desktop or one tap on your phone.

Every step shows while the agent works

Each search, file read, command, and edit is a row in the thread. Send a message during a turn, and the agent reads it after its current step. Or put it in the queue for the next turn.

Open commands, files, and diffs beside the chat

Click a row, and it opens next to the thread. Code has syntax colors. Markdown and HTML show as pages, CSV as a table, and a diff shows the old and the new lines.

See every subagent

When the agent starts subagents or a workflow, the Agents list shows each one with its model, tokens, and time. A workflow also shows its phases. Click an agent to read its whole thread.

Sessions send messages to each other

A Claude Code session can ask a Codex session to check its change. The answer comes back in the Claude Code thread. An agent can also start a new session and give it a task.

Control your sessions from your phone

The iPhone and Android apps open the sessions that run on your desktop. Read the timeline and send the next message from your phone.

  • Session timeline

Every command, file change, and message of the running session. Tap a row to open it.

  • Session switcher

Tap the menu button to pick a desktop and a session, or to start a new session.

  • Dictation

Speak your message. Check the text, then send it.

  • Chat Settings

Pick the model and the reasoning level in one grid. Then pick the access level of the agent.

  • Changes tab

The changed files of the project with their line counts. Tap a file to read its diff.

  • Limits and accounts

See how much of each limit is left. Tap another account to use it for the next turns.

  • Timeline on Android

The Android app shows the same rows. Each turn ends with the Task complete mark.

  • Project tab on Android

All sessions of a project in one list. Tap a session to open it.

  • File preview on Android

Open a project file from the Files tab. Markdown shows as formatted text.

Tools that HB Code adds to both agents

Claude Code and Codex sessions both get these tools. Tell the agent what you need, and it picks the tool.

  • Explainer videos

The agent makes a narrated video of 30 to 120 seconds from a brief. It plays on the desktop and on your phone.

  • Your Chrome browser

The agent searches the web, reads pages, clicks, and types in your own Chrome. A label on the page names each action.

  • Speech

The agent turns an answer or a walkthrough into an audio file. Play it on the desktop or on your phone.

  • Notes from a video

The agent gets the steps, the commands, and the decisions from a YouTube video or a recording.

  • Phone alerts

The agent sends an alert to your phone when the work is complete, fails, or needs your decision.

Explainer videos, speech, and video notes use your own Gemini API key. The browser tool needs the HB Code Browser Bridge extension for Chrome. Phone alerts need the notifications setting and a connected phone.

Made for daily work

HB Code runs Claude Code with Anthropic's Claude Agent SDK and Codex with its own build of OpenAI's Codex app-server. Each agent keeps its own history and its own sign-in.

  • Messages wait for the desktop

When the phone can't reach the desktop, your message waits on the phone. It goes out when the connection is back, and a retry never sends it twice.

  • Continue a saved conversation

Start a session from a conversation that the agent saved for the project folder. For Claude Code, this includes conversations from the terminal. After a restart, each session opens with its full history.

  • Ten color themes

Each theme has a light and a dark version. Your phones use the theme that you pick on the desktop.

  • Syntax colors in commands and files

Commands have shell colors, and a script inside a command gets the colors of its own language. Files open with syntax colors and line numbers.
